Nou d'Octubre

Tomorrow Valencia will celebrate—among other things—the entrance of Jaume I into the city at the reconquest of Valencia from the Moors. The festivities begin tonight with a huge fireworks display in Turia at midnight. On Tuesday there will be a Mascletá at 14:00 in the Plaze del Ayuntamiento and a parade. All over Valencia there will be pageants of “Cristianos y Moros” and lots of food, of course.
