Why bother to join an expensive gym when you can just skip the lift and run up the stairs for nothing? Walking is one of the best exercises imaginable and walking up stairs is even better. I live on the fourth floor and the street and my flat are separated by 84 stairs. I only bother with the lift when I take my bike up and down. When I walk in the door it's like I just ran a 100 meter sprint but my recovery is getting shorter and shorter.
