Valencia is about as quiet as you will ever hear. We had a holiday on the 15th which no one seemed to be able to identify. Saint Something or Other, or as the Spanish say "San Bricolaje." Bricolaje means home improvement. They have so many holidays here that even the locals lose track, especially in August. Saint Home Improvement describes one of these seemingly endless holidays when people will do a little work around the house...except in August when no one would be caught dead doing any sort of manual labor. Instead people go to the beach, have a late lunch, and follow that up with a "Gin-tonic" or gin and tonic. Cheers!
