In my casual study of graffiti in Valencia I have noticed that although graffiti “artists” are mostly vandals, they tend to respect the work of others in their clan. If you have a business in town and don’t want the building to be defaced by vandals, you just need to do a preemptive graffiti strike on your own location. You should hire someone who is capable of painting a half-way attractive mural or you risk getting tagged. For a few Euros you can have something that remotely represents your business and values and displays a modicum of good taste, or you can have some illiterate pre-teen scar you place with his spray paint world view.
The choice is yours.
