O en el Carril Bici o una Multa

A New York cyclist goes to bodily extremes to show how ridiculous it is to be forced to ride only on the bike path. I have had police here in Valencia warn me that I must be on the bike path when in fact the law states that cyclists have the right to be in the street even of there is a bike path present. Many times the bike path is more dangerous than riding in the street as parked cars will open doors into the path of cyclists without looking and pedestrians cross the path at will. The bike path in town is great but it is often only safe to ride on it at a very slow speed. One of the advantages of cycling is that it is supposed to be faster than walking.
